    Home Care is the service of providing seniors with one-on-one assistance in the comfort of their own home and enables our loved ones to continue to live independently. Home Care Assistance helps seniors maintain their quality of life, and the personal attention they receive vastly improves their safety, health and happiness. Home Care includes assistance with activities of daily living such a bathing, dressing, grooming, oral care, toileting, medication reminders and feeding assistance.

  • Who pays for Home Care?

    The services offered by Bright Angel Care are not covered by government assistance programs. Being a private care
    service, it's generally paid for by the client.

  • How much do the services cost?

    Bright Angel Care offers several levels of care and costs are determined based on each client’s individual needs, after a complimentary information meeting and basic assessment.

  • Who can best be helped by Bright Angel Care?

    Bright Angel Care is the perfect solution for anyone who needs supportive services in order to remain in their home. What makes Bright Angel unique is Continuous Re-evaluation with the client and their loved ones as a client's needs evolve, and as an integral part of the family, Bright Angel is there every step of the way to meet those needs in the comfort of the client's home.

  • Do I have to sign a contract locking in services for a specified period of time?

    No! While there is an agreement that outlines your expectations, Bright Angel Care does not require a long-term commitment to services. As a matter of fact it's encouraged that older adults who are undecided about the value of Home Care, simply try Bright Angel, even if it's only for a month.

  • Can I change the schedule if something comes up?

    Yes, changes are always easily accommodated. Bright Angel Care's client's needs always come first.

  • What if the service must be changed?

    No problem. Bright Angel Care is very flexible and understands that situations can quickly change. You can count on a response that is both personal and professional with the first concern always being the welfare of the client.

  • What is the difference between Alzheimer's and Dementia?

    Dementia is a term that envelopes the symptoms that affect mental cognitive skills, like memory and communication. Alzheimer’s is one of the diseases that can cause dementia. Being the most common cause of Dementia, Alzheimer's and Dementia are often confused or combined to mean the same thing.

  • How can I support someone living with Dementia?

    There are significant challenges associated with Dementia; for the afflicted and their family. Support for someone living with Dementia includes; helping them stay active, physically and mentally; communicating with them simply and concisely, and with a consistent tone; and helping them develop coping strategies that lessen the impact of memory loss, like creating labels, picture sets, and lists. Maintaining an environment that is stable, inviting and inclusive, particularly at evening times is important to a routine that fosters continuity and comfort in the home.
